I had a great game, was really nice to not have something big kick off and I was able to get around and talk to loads of different people and generally get my plot on.

I enjoyed going around and getting to talk to people without having to worry about dodging explosions, terrorists, and super-villains. It was a good game for getting stuff done and spreading information. I also enjoyed being able to spread information from some of the stuff that happened in early games that was relevant to stuff that people were asking about.

Fantastic game for me.
- Shaman having a number of serious conversations and starting to feel a lot better about himself. - Coming in thinking IC 'Nobody will ever trust me or get me to do anything important.' - Immediately asked to help resolve something very important. - Realising just how much impact Shaman can have on things sometimes. - Maui's player and I showing off our research into Maori Lore in a long conversation.
And the wonderful OOC moment after the game:
'I don't have anything to do for my downtime.' 'Wait, isn't Shaman working on [thing with massive impact involving about a dozen people]?' 'Yeah, but that's just a side project.' ...pause while I realise what I just said...

Iason's thoughts: That was actually fun! I usually have fun but Iason is a bundle of nerves and frustration. But this time Iason got to be cool uncle Iason, joke around with friends and give someone business advice. Also new plot developments for my character have me excited

I had fun, but unlike everyone else, I got nothing done but a few shovelfuls dug for my characters shallow grave...
Some really intense roleplaying, as Jones went from having his loyalties crushed, to setting sail on an egyptian river thanks to the Guard, to realising that he'll probably be out of a job soon and noone seems to want a stretchy guy whose boss might be a terrorist.
Hobocon will be interesting. You can only stretch elastic so far before something breaks...

I had a great game. Aside from some initial fears regarding the whole thing being a trap, I enjoyed the game. Had a great 16th birthday, got to talk with a lot of people and achieve some goals. Some questions raised which will be followed up soonish. JJ had great fun trolling people with Forecast (Sorry Dr. Tarot and Eddie) about their new status. Loved the help from Penelope Cantaloupe for the great search. Business is going well and we were able to develop some new additions to our offerings. Did not create any weapons and was completely social, it was a new experience. I enjoyed not getting attacked. Apologies to Tracer for getting her into trouble. Thanks for covering for us.

OOC: As one of the new players, I can say that I had a blast. I enjoyed playing my character, and really felt the stress that comes with organizing a big event for people known to level entire buildings. Afterwards, I felt like I needed a massage. (In case anyone's worried: Don't. It just meant I got into character well.) Kind of wish I had the full background of the event (Of course it's not a Nuclear Power Plant! That'd be du- wait, what?), but Tasha had told me to take part, and I failed to read the blurb. I'm not sure how often my character can really be around regularly (He's a businessman, after all), but I'd love to continue. If anyone feels like I messed something up, please let me know: It might have been intentional, or it might not have been. If you don't point it out, i can't get better.

The GMs are pretty good about working out reasons for your character to appear in odd situations. And usually they run the really dangerous games alongside more social ones so players have a choice of which to attend (that is they'd run two games at a con and players pick one for their character to appear in)

There's been businessmen attending games since game one. For some reason these gatherings seem to be a really good place to get work done. (When not being attacked by super criminals, atlanteans, kaiju, dragons, assassins, superheroes, pirates, jungles, mummies, terrorists, fangirls, etc.)
And if you think that was stressful, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Oh, the stress was because I knew how easy it was for everything to go wrong. My character wanted everything to go well, and he knows how easy it is for everything to start exploding. Especially when there's people who can set fire to things, one who's carrying a totally-not-a-gun, mind readers, several people whose fists double as WMDs, one guy who was perpetually on fire/glowing, Security guards who caused most of the real issues, all while having to argue that a nuclear power plant wasn't a nuclear power plant and justifying an all-para guest list. And everyone's been drinking. And EVERYONE, absolutely EVERYONE expects shit to hit the fan, because it always does.

"And EVERYONE, absolutely EVERYONE expects shit to hit the fan". Xie, we were in an old nuclear power plant and the title was "Issue #16: Of Gods and Monsters". That has ominous foreshadowing oozing out of the seams, hence me going around with a bomb detector. This was my second game and in my starting one, there were bombs EVERYWHERE! Like, in almost every piece of sports equipment, everywhere.
