So I know I take the 39a from bachelors walk to UCD on saturday and dublin bus says that should take ~25 mins but if I take the 46a from o'connell's bridge to foxrock that takes ~30?
The Vaticon website mentions several routes that don't exist anymore so it's a bit unreliable

For previous Vaticons I have gotten the 46a to UCD.
After you see the Montrose Hotel on the Left of the Bus pack your things and get ready to get off.
After Montrose the bus will rejoin the motorway and its either the next stop or 2nd stop. When the bus is climbing the slipway it's definitely the time to hit the bell and get off.
From the bus stop you need to cross the bridge to get across the motorway. (if its a foot bridge you're probably a stop too far)
This will place you at the gate for UCD. In previous years the Vaticon staff have placed helpful arrows to the con itself.
Should the arrows be missing, head toward the library or failing that in a generally North direction. You'll eventually come across a covered walkway made of concrete. Follow it North (probably a right hand turn if you come in from the motorway) to the student centre.
And remember if lost stalk (or ask) those who look like gamers.
If you get lost give me a ring.
