I'm happy to play a medic (it's the easiest for me to find costume for . Though someone did mention the need for a decoy, if they want to get on to me about that and tell me what kind of decoy and if it requires a tight-laced corset or not

I'm still in.
I'd be interested in being a Journalist, War junkie or old veteran.
I'm tempted to go veteran with severe post-traumatic stress disorder. (possibly base the character on Flippy from happy tree friends)
May need to get my hands on a military uniform that will stand out as not being from the two armies. (i.e. non camo)
Would a military peaked cap fit in with the headwear rules for civilians?
Something that would give me an excuse to wander near or into the other bases or conflicts.

A tightly laced corset works to, but I don't know if you want to wear one of those all weekend.

I really don't want to wear one all weekend, so cute and innocent it is. I have a giant lollipop for the occasion already.

I've heard we'll be getting more of this fantastic weather in August! That being said, you WILL need good boots.
Just one month left to get your tickets but remember, you can book with a 15 euro deposit and pay the balance on the day.
Nick - We will indeed
Xander - Wear something mismatched and a distinctively civilian hat

Quick reminder, if you want to go you'll need to book your ticket before the 14th, only two weeks left!
Remember, you can book with a 15 euro deposit and pay the balance on the day.

Since the game is happening this weekend and the booking deadline is before 14th: I was wondering:who here is still going? (there have being a few cancellations and a few maybes). Diehard: what's the current plan(times) for the lifts you were offering and how many spaces are free? Also before I forget, I will probably need some Airsoft gear as my normal is currently unavailable. I believe you mentioned some Airsoft pistols you could lend. Are these still available? And of course, any inspirational speeches you wish to post to recruit more Larp players at the last minute?

Still planning on going. Currently the car is just me and thee - if we're signing in before 9.30am I'm guessing we're leaving Dublin as close to 8am as possible. Where are you coming from? I'm in Tallaght.
My current plan is to bring a single two bedroom tent - that second bedroom is free right now. Yes, I have a few crappy springer pistols I can lend you. I'll post a better response this evening when I'm not at work.

I can loan you a luger but Nicks springers will give you more firepower.

I'll be coming from Dundrum, near the shopping centre. I can get the Green Luas into town if it's easier to get picked up from there. I believe the 75 bus goes to Tallaght. Though I'm not sure if it will make it there before 8:00am.
Also, a friend of mine is interested in going to this event as a Larper. However they won't know if they can go until Friday. Would they be able to sign up and pay fully on the day if there are spaces left?
