I hope the GMs don't mind a little further pimpage if it's secluded away here on the General Gaming forum.
As I announced at the end of the last game, I'm running a larp inside the upcoming Rionegro airsoft game, behold the blurb:
This a fairly unique opportunity to play a larp that's part of a much bigger picture, there's gonna be a lot of stuff going on out there to get involved with. There's nothing like this in larp or airsoft in Ireland at the moment so even though you'll get muddy and shot it's worth it for the experience!

Q&A:
What is this? A larp embedded in an airsoft game
What is Rionegro? A well regarded large scale (for Ireland) airsoft game known for its innovation
Will I be shot? Yes
Will it hurt? Airsoft hurts variably on a scale of no to swearing but injuries from the actual BBs are very rare
Is eye protection really necessary? Yes, at all times outside the safe zone, there are no exceptions
Do I need a gun? No
Can I bring a gun? Larp players may not bring an AEG, Springers and GBBs are fine
What facilities are available on site? There are showers and toilets on site subject to a bit of a walk, you are encouraged to bring your own potable water but it can be obtained from the safe zone if necessary, the villagers will have shelter and seating and a designated non-safe camping area nearby, there will be parking and we will have an ambulance on call and off-road vehicles available to evac any OOC casualties
What about food? There is a free post-game BBQ, previous games have had either a burger van or tactiburgers on the Saturday night. The organisers encourage you to bring your own food.

As I announced at the end of the last game, I'm running a larp inside the upcoming Rionegro airsoft game, behold the blurb:
In the central American nation of Rionegro things are not well, a civil war rages for a third year between the supporters and opponents of controversial (Vice) President Munoz. The Patriota faction of General Veron are losing badly to Munoz' Republicanos and have called upon their foreign allies for help. The Royal Domiguan army marches across the border to their aid into the face of the Republicano defenders.
Meanwhile in the little village of Las CureƱas the locals are concerned. They've heard the stories, they've recieved the letters, they've seen the news reports, war is a terrible thing and now it marches near their homes. Can they keep the ravages of war off their streets? Just where did that bootleg tequila come from? Will the invaders respect their Rionegron ways? Who will inherit old man Escobars fortune? Will the Republicanos unleash their mercenary dogs? Where DOES all that tax money go? Can they find more medical supplies? Will our local boy show up those fancy big city journos? Where is the international community? What's been worrying Pablo's livestock?
A LARP for 25 players embedded in an airsoft game for 170+.
